2/7/2014 - I had an all day training and after several months, I left home before Neel and Mili left for school with their dad. While Mili was all smiles and cheerily waving goodbye, Neel was having a meltdown asking me not to leave. Running late, I didn't have time to pacify him other than just saying that I would come back in the evening and needed to leave early for a meeting at work.
Evening, dad needed to pick them up since my training ended late. I believe there was another meltdown since I didn't pick them up from school like I normally do.
Once I got home, Neel hugs me and I asked him why he was crying in the morning and evening. And our conversation went like this:
Neel : I don't want you to go Mamma, I want you to stay at home
Mamma : But what will I do at home when you are at school?
Neel : You should relax at home
Ha ha...the last line was too good. I don't mind relaxing at home but wonder where these 5yr olds pick up such thoughts from :)
